road trip day 2

we woke up this morning at the oh so fabulous Quality Inn, in some random town in Utah. We headed to the other South East portion of Utah to camp for the night. The drive was wonderful, Utah is so colorful, the air is so clear you can see for miles and miles. we stopped at a little diner in Salina. By far the best roadside diner ever, it is called Moms Cafe, i am still trying to figure out a reason to be back in the part of Utah so i can eat there again. Our campsite was about 40 miles above Moab. It was up this huge mountain. Driving a Penske truck up the mountain gave me a mild panic attack but we made it. When we got to the camp site we set up our tent and went for a hike, the forest was a white birch forest, beautiful. There were deer everywhere, there were also cows everywhere, i think that there must have been a ranch nearby, there were also freaking grasshoppers everywhere, it made the hike slightly annoying. Every step we took about 20 grasshoppers would jump. After our hike we just hung out and went to bed really early. Now picture time:

these are from a view point near a salt flat, n decided it would be fun to take a fall down the side of a ledge, he is trying to show off his battle wounds but he just looks like lindsay lohan after a DUI



these are from the drive up to the camp ground, the bottom right is a cow, i was so excited when i saw it in the distance cause i thought it was real wildlife, i felt bad not taking its picture once i discovered it was a cow, cow need love too
