when i went to move my car this morning for street sweeping i found this ticket on my car. was i parked illegally? no. had the street sweeper already come by? no. the reason stated is driveway complaint. but wait, i'm not blocking a driveway. then i remember, this is where my arch nemesis who thinks that the street in front of the apartment BUILDING she lives in belongs to her and her car. well lady this is false. now let me give you the back story on this woman, she believes that her car is the only car in all of san francisco that can park in spots surrounding the garage of her building, whenever anyone parks in one of these spots she leaves a notice on the car, saying that the car is parked illegally and she will get it towed etc. the notice is sign a concerned citizen. i swear that she stays in her apartment all day waiting to give out these notices, once i was parked there for less than 2 hours and she had placed a notice on my car! wtf lady get a life! if you think for one second that i am not going to park there again you are wrong. i have already wrote a letter to protest my citation, and you know what whore bag? i will not have to pay it. and you know what else...i will be parking in that spot whenever possible. so thanks for the warning, but as you know, its a prime spot, and unfortunately for you i'm not going away.

El Toreador
friday night to celebrate j's last day of work, the end of the week, and my moving to SF. J, D and i went to have a wonderful mexican feast. we went to a little place
in west portal called el toreador.
the interior was very picasso-esque, there was color everywhere, and a super fun decor. the wait was little long, but there is pub next door and the host knows to go there to find you when you're table is ready (however the pub does
not take cards, cash only so be prepared). the second you sit at your table delicious hot salsa and two bowls of chips are placed before you. this is the most important thing to me when eating at a mexican restaurant. i ordered the chicken chimichangas, they were the best chimichangas i had ever had in my life. d had the chicken mole and she says she doesn't have a quote but that she enjoyed them, i didn't sample them so i don't know. j had the chile relleno and he says "it was very good, the rice was fresh...and GO PATRIOTS!" we also split a pitcher of margaritas, i feel like its hard to make a bad margarita, so they were fine. the price may have been the best part of this restaurant, it was about $50 for the three of us, and we all ordered full size entrees and drinks. the service was outstanding! all in all i would give this restaurant an B+ because the bathrooms were pretty gross.
